• Boo hiss! Quality pork is outrageously expensive and extremely hard to come by. But, the unbelievable taste and health benefits of bacon (and other unbelievable deliciousness) makes pork a must for the well fed family table. The good news is that pork, AKA pigs before they are harvested, are surprisingly easy to raise. Despite popular rumors, you don’t need much space (think 240 square feet, minimum), pigs don’t stink (if managed right), they don’t make a lot of noise and they’ll convert ALL your food waste (banana peels, rotten milk, apple cores or whatever) into delicious bacon all while tilling your garden, clearing forest or turning compost.
  • Given the surprising ease and convenience of raising pigs, countless folks are walking away from the marketplace and taking control of their food story and raising their own pork.
  • ALL you have to do to grow your own is learn a few simple concepts and you're on your way to growing your own bacon, sausage, ham and head cheese (if you’re feeling oh so saucy ;)
  • Now, for the first time, a much needed “edutainal” (educational and entertaining) film project that chronicles one family's two year adventure of getting starting with pigs AND an all inclusive course that will teach you how to raise your own pork from piglet to the plate…
